Sondia is a versatile and multifaceted professional in the film and television industry with over a decade of experience she brings expertise, integrity and dedication to every project she undertakes.
As a senior Digital Imaging Technician and DI Colourist, she has extensive experience across both on-set and post-production environments, specialising in the development of robust systems and workflows. In recent years, particularly through her work with SAFAITS, Sondia has expanded her long-standing passion for teaching into formal education and training. She is the lead coordinator for the SAFA/SAFAITS joint venture, The SA Post Lab Scarce Skills Training Programme, and is currently launching its very first NFVF-funded DIT and On-Set VFX Training Programme in January 2026, the first of many.
Across all her work, her focus remains on collaboration, cohesion, industry protection through training and advocacy, and, above all, excellence and pride in the stories we tell, the work we do, and the care we show for the people we work with.
