This is not simply a short course.

It is a formally aligned, standards-based skills development programme built within the national qualifications framework.

Developed by Safaits in partnership with the The SA FILM Academy and funded by the National Film and Video Foundation, the SA Post Lab establishes a new benchmark for professional training in post-production, on set vfx and digital imaging.

##  FULL ACCREDITATION & ALIGNMENT STRUCTURE

The SA Post Lab is:

 **Aligned to SAQA-Registered Unit Standards**

 Structured within the **National Qualifications Framework (NQF Level 5)**

 Designed to contribute toward nationally recognised credits

 Mapped to relevant occupational pathways within the Film & Television sector

 Positioned within the MICT SETA ( Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority )** framework

### What This Means:

 Training is aligned to formally registered **SAQA Unit Standards**

 Learning outcomes are measurable and assessed

 Credits earned contribute toward recognised qualifications pathways

 Programme delivery follows structured assessment, moderation, and competency validation processes

 Skills development aligns with industry-recognised occupational categories under MICT SETA

This ensures:

• National portability of skills

• Quality assurance oversight

• Formal recognition within South Africa’s education and training framework
